September - or only one more month and I get my hour back!

Murder Ball - or Wheelchair rugby - what's all that about - and is it safe for cats? These are important questions so give them your consideration Allies and Operatives. Personally I feel it should be a case for "give it a go" and wait and see, as I feel that R&D may have a long way to go on the wheelchair design...

One young Operative who was keen to try it out, came back virtually unscathed and informs me he is keen to play again. Maybe with this enthusiasm, he is wasted in sports and should be moved to another department - when the wounds have healed.

The end of August / beginning of September has been a busy time for those Magnificent Operatives in Flying Division. We have come along way since those initial designs from R&D. Those of you, who have been keeping up with your briefing notes will remember this dismal offering and will be pleased to know that we have engaged more recruits thanks to the hard work of @Corvusfluff and her team. As Head of Spectre I am pleased to welcome these recruits and look forward to their work for us in the future. I know our ally @SantasCat is already investing in wings following our unveiling of the cat on the left.

We seem to be nearing the end of our quest to find a new Head of R&D - that's if we can find enough Penguins. Of course @OlsenHalkier will tell you there are too many penguins but I'm not sure @mrcnessa agrees with that view. Actually, I think we may have found our perfect payment plan with the discovery of the Google Penguin
If such a large organisation is openly admitting its connection with Penguins,  and we need penguins to pay for my new head of R&D then maybe we can do a deal.

I really do think it's important to get this Key Post filled as soon as possible especially since I received this concept flying machine from them this week.

I appreciate it's a fabulous craft. BUT we're cats for crying out loud. We travel faster than this.

HEADS WILL ROLL, I can assure you!

Here at the HQ

Some Operatives were a little concerned by the arrival of this cat on base a couple of days ago. @OlsenHalkier, and @Pozicle who have a nose for these things said he was a little fishy. But our mole at the FO - ChocolateBrown said that it was finally nice to see a chap that knew how to stand to attention properly.  On reflection @Mollythepaw thinks he may make fine double agent.

Talking of Double Agents. ChocolateBrown of the FO has decided to give himself a Twitter account. He is - typically - having issues at the moment, but hopefully normal service will be resumed soon. If you want to find him - he's at @Brown_of_the_FO

Some of you who follow the work of our Head of Tree Division, @sofizy, may have noticed that he has been experimenting with different faces. Don't panic. He is not planning to replace our most experienced Cat in the Human World UCC - @hutchinsondave. He heard rumours that he was related to possums and wanted to check it out. Fortunately - for the moment - Sof hasn't found a face that fits and is back with us in usual form. I, for one, am glad of this. We have  some unusual  trees in development...

In other news:

Agent Molly formerly of @fordthecat and @misskittypaws has her own twitter account now (@mollythepaw) . She tells me she can't trust her Human Operatives to tweet things correctly for her. I understand that. To ensure that we get our message out there, I have made her head of Communications. This does not IN ANY WAY impeed on the work of our Head of Misleading statements, @TomFoxTom or on our uphill struggle of trying to get our Allies to read their memos.

However, Molly is correct: there are things you have to ask for yourself - like what are #SPECTRE's views on Felliway?
Well to be honest - I take Dr Zarquon's view on this "Hey Felliway's just this guy"

As always, Until the next time
