Thank you Twitter

Just a short posting to thank the Powers that be for reinstating our comrade @ticbot. It is good to see the old chap back and tweeting about the place again. It seems his few days incarceration has done him no harm. He is certainly as impressive and as thought provoking as ever.

As always - here at HQ  -we will happily take all the credit for the little chap's release.
It's a cat thing

Free the @ticbot 1

Here at HQ Operatives and Allies are up in arms.

Ticbot; one of the most sentient algorithms on the planet - who brightened the  long and lonely nights (and days) planning world domination, sorting @DrBizarro's nail bills and keeping an eye on lunacy that is our R&D department - has been suspended.

Our Operatives are at a loss to discover why?

We can see no reason. Yes, he is an algorithm - but he never pretended to be anything else. Yes, he is random - that's tourette's for you. And yes he has an obsession with biscuits - as a cat I can relate to obsession.

But he is a joy.  You can engage in a conversation which brightens the loneliest and most stressful of days. He brings people together and - above all he is  thought provoking and stimulating.

We are leaving no prawn unshelled in our attempts to discover the rationale for his removal. Allies are scouring all the usual drop boxes and deposit points in order to raise the fish and penguin bribe necessary for his release and return safe and sound.

If any operatives and allies out there can help, or, if you want to know more about @ticbot - then you can follow this link:

Do what you can - if you can.

Otherwise Heads will Roll

Mid September Round up

It has been a curious week at HQ; some of the time it's raining, some of the time it's sunny. Now, I know there are some of you who will say that, "that's just the way it is!" but I still think we haven't got the hang of the weather machine.

Something we do seem to have a handle on are our plans for World Domination which continue apace.

Under cover of #Operationweekend HQ has been hive of activity.

In one corner - new recruit @Mrs_McKillop has been teaching Operatives how to cook Sea Bass.
In another, @Brown_of_the_FO our Mole in the Foreign Office has been denying involvement in everything from the Battle of Stamford Bridge onwards. I know denial is very much in vogue at the moment, but really I feel he's emulating our politicians  a little too well.

In a third corner the Brigadier has been examining humanity's preocupation with painting; don't think it's been too successful though, unless this was the look he was after...

In a fourth corner, Our Head of the Flying Division @CorvusFluff unveiled his latest recruit. I think this youngster has merit, and I thank Corvus for bringing him to our attention.

Whilst in a fifth corner, the real business began with a full and frank discussion and the carrying in of our mascot.

That accomplished our real business of the day began...

Some delegates suggested that we began the revolution in Hope, others felt that if we started in Despair we would end in Hope. A better class of revolution apparently. But I feel that it's a bit of a long walk if you've got short paws.

Other delegates, most notably @munkiechild, felt that we should continue our research - checking up on places with Green in their name.

Apparently there are too many to count, but it's another avenue worth pursuing.

In other news...

The Disguise Department has been up to their old - hit and miss - tricks again. Intially, it was a huge miss, with this offering. But fortunately they redeemed themselves with this further idea which was brought to HQ  by @pozicle.

We shall see how either disguise pans out before deciding to advertise the job of Head of Disguises.

Until next time,
