Operation Jubilee Weekend Day 1 - Roundup

All is go here with a four day Operation Weekend to contend with. It is very evident that our enemy is letting down their guard for this "60 years in the making" event - as our allies at the BBC are calling this Jubilacious event, which means that we should be GO GO GO! for World Domination.

However, from what I can gather,  our allies are more concerned with partying as 'twere 2012 than taking over the world. At least Z is taking the security of the weekend seriously

Our ally the pub @poringlandoak - has been issuing directives to all operatives concerning:  slapping the sunscreen on and heading down to the beer garden, but to be fair this dictat was issued on Friday evening, so things may have altered.

Our Mole deep in the heart of Downing Street  has struck early. @Number10cat reports that Gerry Halliwell's classic outfit has been recycled by our enemy the Government. He obviously didn't approve of this, and took steps to rectify this - very successfully,  - as we can see from the photograph ...

We received word that the Undercover Division has surpassed themselves with their new cat about town outfit. Unfortunately, we here at HQ remain unconvinced...

Even @CaptainLimey of CLENCH is holding a  "Jubilee Tea Party" at the CLENCH UNDERGROUND LAIR - all operatives are invited - just bring beer and make your way to the Mezzanine Floor.

We cannot be sure - but we think he may have left the lights on...

@birmanboris has been out on covert manoeuvres. I wonder if he has bumped into @Fordethecat 's Molly who has been, "out- A LOT!" whilst this is pleasing news, I do wish operatives would be a little more fulsome in their communications.

Perhaps Operatives could take note of the detail in @callimund's report. Operation Nuts continues apace - with Squirrels being pinned down  "in the Yew tree" in what is described as "classic pincer movements." And as always I am pleased with the coded communication from @GreyCatOfficial that his division are "just going to annoy the neighbours. Kill a few birds and mice whilst their jubilee party is in full swing."

@Sofizy Head of our Tree Division has found a place to plant some new trees. His tweet refers this as being in the "near future". He obviously missed the update from Head of Time Travel, @WalleWalleWalle: "Thought we'd cracked the time travel and returned to winter, early indications show we've made an error and its just dodgy weather.... We'll go back to the drawing board."

YOU WILL INDEED

@Munkiechild has had a busy weekend - and (at time of writing) it's only Sunday Morning. Not only has she been interviewing potential new recruits - we look forward to welcoming them to our ranks - but she has been organising dictionaries for those operatives who use Facebook as their main means of communications. We here at SPECTRE have ordered a Z - A dictionary - so that we may know our enemy backwards!

Whilst Undercover cat - @Hutchinsondave is gearing up for another bank holiday as a human. Despite his protestations to the contrary, we feel that somewhere during the festivities - someone will incur his ire and be shouted at - well let's hope it's not down the tip this time

@TomFoxTom - not content with being Head of Illusive and Misleading Statements - has taken himself over to R&D to get them to look at the feasibility of giving noisy asthmatics a loudhailer. But we drew the line at his suggestion that silent cats should be issued with a  MEWT button!

YOU ARE RIGHT TO HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME.

And  - in a round up of final news for Day 1 -

On and Off Ally Ming the Merciless - more commonly known as @DrBizzaro has issued pictures of his new hideout. Operatives, please take note that the building for his telescope array seems to be progressing at a better pace than ours

A big shout out to our new Allies and Operatives - thank you. Your loyalty will not go unrewarded. And we look forward to hearing about the ways you intend to advance our cause.

Until Next  Time

ROVER AND OUT
